SWS students are tutored by HIP HOP/ Robert Wood Johnson Medical students

The Simuel Whitfield Simmons Organization and the Robert Wood Johnson/UMDNJ medical students partner to offer free tutorial classes to SWS students. One medical student per SWS student was matched up based on the medical students expertise in the subject matter. This program offered SWS students the opportunity to gain a better understanding of their academic studies. THANK YOU HIPHOP/ Robert Wood Johnson Medical Students for supporting SWS students and their education
SWS students attend Science Health Day at Robert Wood Johnson/UMDNJ Medical School

The Simuel Whitfield Simmons Organization youth had an opportunity to be Doctor's for a Day with HIP HOP medical students at Robert Wood Johnson/UMDNJ Medical School. Students learned about health issues such as diseases, healthy eating, organs and much more. This allowed students to be in a medical school for the first time. They were able to interact with the medical students and ask them questions about the medical field. Some students seemed very interested in the field and expressed interest in becoming a nurse or doctor. THANK YOU HIP HOP (Susan Giordano/Robert Wood Johnson -UMDNJ Medical Students for teaching us about our health.
